Rosemary hair rinse recipe
Updated: May 30, 2019
This hair rinse is excellent for weak, thin and damaged hair...or simply to help if you accidentally cut your hair too short!

Rosemary contains high levels of calcium and Horsetail contains high levels of silica. Together, with the detoxifying Apple Cider Vinegar, they make an excellent hair rinse
Apple Cider Vinegar leaves the hair soft but smelly! Don't worry, as soon as your hair dries the smell goes away. If you are still worried about the smell add some extra essential oil drops to mask it.
How to use this rinse...
In 400ml of water, actively boil:
1 tablespoon of Rosemary,
2 Teaspoons of Horsetail,
1 Teaspoon of Sage/Chamomile
Strain and cool. Add:
100ml Apple Cider Vinegar
5 drops Rosemary essential oil
2 drops Tea Tree oil
Optional 2 drops Lavender
In the shower:
Rinse hair with luke warm water.
Use one cup (250ml) at a time.
Pour the blend over your scalp, avoiding your eyes.
Rub it into your scalp and leave it for 10 minutes.
Rinse thoroughly.
Do this twice a week for growth and once a week for maintenance.
Store in the fridge. Do not keep the mixture for more than 2 weeks.
