Seed Crackers and Garden Herbs
Store-bought seed crackers can be so expensive. But these delicious bits of bread-replacement are so easy to make at home!
Ingredients:
1/2 cup sunflower seeds
3 tablespoons pumpkin seeds
1/4 cup chia seeds
1/8 cup flaxseed
1/2 tsp salt
3/4 cup of water
1 tablespoon of mixed herbs from the garden (or kitchen). I used rosemary, oregano and wild garlic
1 tsp paprika or chili
Instructions:
Heat your oven to 170 C.
Mix all of your ingredients and add the water.
Wait for 15 minutes.
Flatten the mixture over greased baking paper on a baking tray.
The mixture sure be spread evenly and thinly but without any gaps.
Bake for 1 hour until crisp.
Allow the crackers to cool and then break into suitably-sized pieces.
Store in an airtight container.
